The latest leg of Don McLean's 2004 World Tour is confirmed - he will play at concert at Castlewellan, Northern Ireland on August 7th. The venue is close to the Mountains of Mourne.
"Don's interpretation of the song "Mountains of Mourne" is acclaimed as the greatest ever version by all. We thought it would be great if Don could bring the song home to the actual Mountains of Mourne here in beautiful Co. Down, Northern Ireland. The venue is absolutely beautiful with a fairytale castle a lake and a natural amphitheatre set in the forest park in the heart of the Mourne Mountains. We do hope he will include the song in his performance. Our website will be updated in early May with full information about accomodation, travel and full programme for the ten day festival. "
